Food Tray Mock-Up Kits [
top]
|
In February of 2002, NASA FTCSC
donated 16 space food tray mock-up kits to Iowa State University
Extension Offices.
Modeled after food trays used
by NASA, the space food kits can be used to educate Iowa
students about space foods, food processing techniques,
and nutrition. Each kit contains a NASA FTCSC space food
tray mock-up, two color posters explaining the food trays,
a video about space foods, and NASA's Space Food and Nutrition
Educator's Guide.
The space food kits are
available to Iowa educators for check-out through ISU Extension
offices. For more information, contact the Extension Offices
